What a delight!

Last December we went on a magical journey with Clara and the Nutcracker Prince. From the heroic battle against the Mouse King, through the Land of the Snowflakes and on to the Kingdom of the Sweets, we were delighted by marvelous dancing and sweet performances by the cast of the Alameda Civic Ballet.

We met the Sugar Plum Fairy and her charming Cavalier and were entertained by the wonders of the Land of Enchantment.

Choreographed by Artistic Director Abra Rudisill with gorgeous costumes and beautiful sets – all to the classic Tchaikovsky score – this production brought out the child in all of us. Whether this was your first time seeing our Nutcracker or part of your holiday tradition, ACB’s 15th annual Nutcracker helped share the holiday spirit.

Thank you for supporting Alameda Civic Ballet!

Our 15th annual Nutcracker was a success thanks to each and every one of our dedicated volunteers! From the bottom of our hearts, we thank you for your time, energy and support. There is so much work that goes into this production, from rehearsals, to costumes and props, to the backstage and front of house organization….we can’t thank you enough. We could not have done it without you!

Thank you to all the dancers, big and small. Our hearts are full seeing them back on stage after 3 trying years of the pandemic. We hope you enjoyed their performances as much as we did!
